Joining a Class
How to Join a Class
Joining a class connects you with your teacher so you can receive assignments, have your work graded, and track your progress as part of a group. Your teacher will provide you with a unique 6-character join code that links you to their class.
Getting Your Join Code
Your teacher will share a 6-character join code with you. This code is a short combination of letters and numbers (for example, ABC123). Your teacher may share it in person, via email, or through a messaging app. If you do not have a join code, ask your teacher to provide one.
Entering the Join Code
There are two ways to enter your join code:
- From the homepage — After logging in, look for the Join Code input field on the homepage. Type or paste your 6-character code and click Join.
- From the /join page — Navigate directly to the join page by going to lifeschoolers.com/join in your browser. Enter your code and click Join.
After Joining
Once you have successfully joined a class, any assignments your teacher creates will appear on your Assignments page. You will be able to see the assignment title, topic, difficulty, problem count, and due date for each assignment.
Joining Multiple Classes
You can join more than one class if you have multiple teachers or are enrolled in different subjects. Simply repeat the process with each teacher's join code. Assignments from all of your classes will appear together on the Assignments page, labeled by class name so you can tell them apart.
Tip: Keep your join code somewhere safe in case you need to reference it later. If you accidentally leave a class, you can rejoin using the same code.
