Changing Your Plan
Opening the Plan Selector
To change your plan, go to the Account Settings page and click the Change Plan button in the Subscription section. A modal will appear showing all three available tiers — Starter, Premium, and Teacher — with a full list of features for each.
Your current plan is highlighted with a colored border so you can quickly see where you stand. Plans you can switch to will have an active button labeled either Upgrade or Downgrade, depending on the direction of the change.
Upgrading Your Plan
To move to a higher tier, click the Upgrade button on the plan you want. You will be redirected to a Stripe checkout page where you can enter or confirm your payment details. Once payment is processed, your new plan features are available immediately.
If this is your first time subscribing, for a limited time, you can enter the promo code PIE314 during checkout to receive 30 days free on any plan. The promo code field appears on the Stripe checkout page before you confirm payment.
Downgrading Your Plan
To move to a lower tier, click the Downgrade button on the plan you want. This opens the Stripe billing portal where you can confirm the change. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, so you will continue to enjoy your current plan’s features until then.
What Happens to Your Data
Downgrading never deletes your data. All of your worksheets, scores, progress history, and class enrollments are preserved. You simply lose access to premium features (like advanced topics or teacher tools) until you upgrade again.
Tip: If you are a teacher considering a downgrade, keep in mind that your schools, classes, and assignments will still exist but will not be accessible until you re-subscribe to the Teacher tier. Your students will not be removed from classes.
Using a Promo Code
For a limited time, you can apply the promo code PIE314 at Stripe checkout when upgrading or subscribing for the first time. This gives you 30 days free on whichever plan you choose. The code can only be used once per account.
