Algorithmic vs. AI-Powered Generation
Topics are generated using one of two methods:
- Algorithmic (instant) — Counting, Arithmetic, and Fractions & Decimals use algorithmic generation. Problems are created instantly with no wait time.
- AI-powered (a few seconds) — Pre-Algebra and all topics above it use AI-powered generation. This produces more varied and nuanced problems but may take a few seconds to complete. You will see progress messages during generation.
Understanding Difficulty Levels
Each topic can be generated at one of four difficulty levels:
- Easy — Introductory problems that focus on fundamental concepts. Great for building confidence and learning new topics.
- Medium — Standard practice problems at grade-level expectations. This is the best choice for regular homework and study sessions.
- Hard — Challenging problems that push your skills further. These may involve multi-step reasoning, larger numbers, or more complex scenarios.
- Mixed — A combination of Easy, Medium, and Hard problems in a single worksheet. This is excellent for comprehensive review and test preparation.
Tip: The Mixed difficulty is especially useful for review sessions. It gives you a realistic mix of problem types, similar to what you might see on a test or exam.
